Dr. Inna Nadelwais is the Executive Director of Mecomed, a trade association for the medical devices, imaging, and diagnostics industry in the Middle East and Africa. She has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector and has been instrumental in promoting value-based healthcare in the MEA region, focusing on innovative medical technologies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Mecomed under her leadership emphasizes the importance of integrating digital health solutions and artificial intelligence to address healthcare challenges in the region.
She also supports the initiatives of global industry cooperation through the Global Medical Technology Alliance. In her current role, Inna focuses on strategic initiatives including shaping digital and AI regulations, implementing value-based healthcare and building market access policies to ensure that the most innovative and safest medical technologies reach the patients of the region in a fastest way.
Prior to joining Mecomed in 2013, Inna held various leadership roles in MedTech and Healthcare provision sectors, including multinationals, start-ups and a hospital chain.
Inna is a Doctor of Medicine with an Master’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics.
