General Manager, Abbott Cardiac-Arrhythmia Management & Heart Failure (CAHF), Middle East & Africa (based in Dubai)
Youssef El Khamlichi is a highly skilled professional and business leader with almost 20 years of experience in healthcare finance, sales, marketing and management. Through the 2017 corporate acquisition of St. Jude Medical (SJM), Youssef now leads Abbott’s new Cardiac-Arrhythmia Management & Heart Failure (CAHF) division in the Middle East and Africa region, based out of Dubai.
Youssef grew up in Morocco, was educated in France and started his career with KPMG, where he was a manager in Audit & Transaction Services. In 2005, he joined Boston Scientific where he held several leadership roles in management and finance, first in France, and then in Lebanon with regional responsibilities. In 2013, he moved to Dubai to lead Terumo as GM in the Middle East and Africa, before taking on a new role at SJM as General Manager Middle East & Africa.
Educated at Marseille’s Ecole Superieure de Commerce, Youssef holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Audit. Married, with a young daughter, Youssef speaks English, Arabic and French.
