Mazen Dalati has joined Baxter A.G. as the General Manager for Middle East and Africa (MEA) in March 2018 (value is USD 270 Million).
Based in Dubai/UAE, Mazen Dalati is responssible for running Baxter overall business including Renal & HP across MEA within (7) seven different locations (UAE, KSA, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia & South Africa). Mazen Dalati is managing (158) Baxter employees plus (50) semi-direct employees. Above all of this, Mazen Dalati is highly engaged in joint-venture (JV) in KSA to strengthen Baxter presence in KSA by manufacturing activities.
Prior to Baxter A.G., Mazen Dalati was the Chief Operating Officer for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, General Electric Company based in Riyadh/KSA. In his previous position, Mazen Dalati was responsible for setting policy strategy, drive the company government affairs and advise on the full range of governmental policy and regulatory issues as well as leading the engagement strategy with government and assisting the business in their government transactions.
Mazen Dalati joined GE Healthcare as General Manager for Middle East and Africa in September 2006 expanding his role to include Turkey CA in 2009 and Russia CIS in 2010.
Mazen Dalati was also appointed as the President and CEO, GE Healthcare Saudi Arabia, where he was leading one of the most important regions in EAGM working closely the GGO organization to develop healthcare in coordination with the MOH and other customers in the country.
Prior to GE, Mazen Dalati was the General Manager for Al-Jeel Medical in Saudi Arabia leading one of the largest medical companies from 1997 to 2006 and prior to that he was the Executive Vice President and Partner at Healthcare Development International (HDI) an American Medical equipment exporter and trading house.
